Welcome to SoulStrutter. The aim of this blog is to spread the word and to 'Keep The Faith" for rare and lesser known soul music spanning seven decades from the 60s to present day. It's purpos is purely educational, critical and promotional.

Soul music has been my passion since around 1972 (now rapidly approaching 50 years). Many artists have never received the recognition that their enduring music deserves. Many have now left this world without even realising that their music was enjoyed outside of their local area. This blog aims to correct that and bring attention to little known artists, recording one-off tunes on tiny independent, often one-off, record labels.

It is not only 'legacy' soul music, the blog also promotes brand new music aiming to give exposure to the best of the latest recordings being produced today.
